Happy Weekend!

We had a great, eventful weekend. For the first time - why it has taken so long I have no idea - Jimmy and I attended a workshop at COSI. It was the Yucky & Mucky workshop. He doesn't love have dirty hands but it sounded like a good time to me. It took him about 3 seconds to get down and dirty. He LOVED the shaving cream. We're going to have to repeat that one at home some day when it is warm outside. Lots of fun!


Saturday night we went to watch the game at the Bairs and had a great time. The kids are all playing really well together and for the most part had a great time ripping apart Julian's cool play room and playing on his real, kid sized drums.

Then today we went to a Parks & Recs sponsored event - Darby Days. It was at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park. Lots of fun! We played in a real ambulance and fire truck.

Got to meet an Eastern Screech Owl.

And played on our new favorite piece of play ground equipment.

Petted snake. Aunt Traci would be so proud. We also touched one of the biggest cat fish I have ever seen. We lost Brian for a little bit. He was entranced by the fish they had pulled out of the Darby. Jimmy stayed up way past his nap time.
