Slow....
Things seem to be moving at a snail's pace, but we were told to expect that. The last several weeks the updates on our paperwork have pretty much been the same with the dates changed. We are still waiting for the DNA authorization to be submitted (which we have been told can take 60 days) and for our translated paperwork to be sent in. We expect new pictures maybe early next week.
The good news - for anyone that has read the story in the papers - the Guatemala earthquake this last week was along the coast and didn't impact Guatemala City. Our agency reported that all the staff and children are fine. So that's some good news. Our hearts both dropped when we saw the story in the paper but I have tried to be very patience and knew the agency would update us - which they did. I think this was the second really, really strong - I want to get him now - feeling.
Just have to keep looking towards the future.
Got the ceiling in Jimmy's room painted on my days off this week. We still have a lot to do but are slowly but surely getting it done. And with how slowly things are moving in Guatemala unfortunately we have the time.
